At North London Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, I work with children and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, phobias, sleep disorders, bereavement, trauma, low confidence and self-esteem and a range of other issues.
Often, they have tried other approaches to move forward but still feel unhappy, overwhelmed or unable to make progress.
We can utilise Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy methods and techniques, (backed by the latest neuroscientific research) to help you focus on making positive changes and to empower you - without the need to ever revisit traumatic past experiences, people or problems.
That’s not to say upsetting or traumatic things haven’t happened to us, but it’s about taking back our control, where we are now, and creating the life we want and deserve. And I firmly believe this is all in your hands to achieve.
Clients are not required to go over traumatic experiences or memories in therapy. We focus on where you are now and on creating new neural pathways to help you be more happy, confident and authentically you. I also offer CBT, NLP and mindfulness techniques during sessions, if helpful.
When we work in this way, we get results a lot quicker, usually in 6-8 sessions but sometimes more.

I offer a free initial consultation and there is no obligation to go ahead with sessions following the consultation.
During the call we’ll discuss:

What’s going on for you now and how you would like it to be different.

We’ll talk about how the brain works, a little bit of the neuroscience, and why this is impacting how you feel.

We’ll also discuss how REM sleep works in processing negative experiences and past trauma, and why focusing too much on our problems puts us in the “fight or flight mode” part of our brain, where we are unable to make positive changes.

We'll discuss how we can use solution focused hypnotherapy and psychotherapy to create lasting positive change in your life. How you can take control back.

Most importantly, it’s a chance to talk with me and ask any questions, to ensure that you feel happy working with me.
